I-dle Merch started in the most ordinary way — from a laptop on a kitchen table.

Back in 2020, a dedicated K-pop fan named Mina noticed something while browsing online: it was surprisingly hard to find good-quality, comfortable, fan-inspired clothing for Gidle. Most merch felt overly basic, low quality, or too expensive for what it offered. So she began designing her own shirts and hoodies — minimal, stylish, and subtle enough for everyday wear.

She posted a few photos online, thinking only a handful of friends might be interested. Instead, her designs caught the attention of fans across social media. People loved that the clothes felt premium, unisex, and wearable even outside concerts. Orders started coming in faster than she expected.

That’s when she officially created Gidle Merch.

At first, everything was shipped from her apartment: T-shirts stacked in plastic bins, hoodies folded on the couch, bubble mailers stored under her bed. She focused on quality, using soft fabrics, clean prints, and designs inspired by each comeback — not flashy knockoffs, but stylish pieces fans could be proud to wear.

By 2022, the demand grew enough that Mina rented a small studio space. It wasn’t glamorous, but it was hers. Fans from the city started dropping by in person to pick up orders, chat about new releases, or just hang out surrounded by posters, photo cards, and racks of neatly arranged apparel. The place slowly became a gathering spot for local Neverlands.

As Gidle’s Merch popularity rose, so did hers. A short video she posted on TikTok showcasing a new hoodie collection went viral, attracting thousands of international fans. Emails from overseas filled her inbox — all asking the same thing:

“Do you ship worldwide?”

So she partnered with a reliable fulfillment service and expanded Gidle Merch globally, offering Free Shipping Worldwide as a thank-you to the fans who helped her grow.

Today, the band’s name changed and so the store, I-dle Merch still operates like a small, fan-driven business. Every design is still created by Mina, every collection is inspired by the group’s eras, and every customer is treated like part of the community. Fans stop by wearing shirts from past collections, take photos in front of the shop’s mural, and pin notes to the little corkboard that reads:

“Neverlands Welcome.”

I-dle Merch isn’t just a store anymore — it’s a place built by a fan, for fans, offering clothes and accessories that help people feel connected to the music and the group they love.
